I very recently, as in minutes ago, purchased a Pre-Order guild wars box from FRYS Electronics. However, I'd very much like to trade with someone who bought theirs from Electronics Botique, so I could use the Pre-order specific BOW. If anyone's interested in this trade, please EMAIL me, instant message me, or anything you can think of to contact me before thursday at around 9pm Pacific time. I'd be forever thankful of your kindness.

The Friend key is intact, and will also be transfered.

I know.. however thats the time I plan on registering for the beta weekend event. after all.. I'd like to play that too.

I would be very careful of swapping key codes with a stranger.

you are swapping before having a chance to verify that the key is valid.

you give a valid key to somebody and they give you one that is in the right format but bogus or expired

you are out of luck while they are happily playing

the starter item will not be anything that you cannot pick up off rhe ground performance wise anyway.GUILD WARS = BALANCE

it couldnt be over powered or the balance would be shot

I understand the risk. HOWEVER, even if I do get cheated out of an account, I still have the reciept to the original preorder. It wont stop me from playing, I simply wont be a preorder owner.

Perhaps I should ask applicants to scan their CD key along with their friend account, while I would do the same. ( I havent opened the box yet. )

On the matter of whether the account is legitimate or not, I would ask people to use the "invite a friend to remotely connect to your computer" tool built into most new versions of Windows, and downloadable for older models and for Macintosh PCs, hence verifying which type of account the sign-up was for. I have enough faith in this community as a whole to say that I'm sure nobody would simply try and gimp me out of a trade.

You could just get it from EB... the preorder is only $5 bucks. Then you could have both items.
